Steven Walczak, Ph.D., Associate Professor, School of Information, swalczak@usf.edu

Dr. Steven Walczak is an Associate Professor in the School of Information. Dr. Walczak graduated from University of Florida in Computer Science with his PhD in 1985. He has served as an Associate Computer Scientist with the National Security Agency, in private industry, and from 1998-2014 was a tenured Associate Professor in the College of Business at the University of Colorado. Dr. Walczak’s primary research applies artificial intelligence (AI) and other technical solutions to both diagnostic and resource planning issues within healthcare domains.
