Frederick Pearce is a professor of telecommunications at the University of South Florida. He is the former director of the USF School of Mass Communications. Previously, he was a professor of telecommunications and chair of the Department of Journalism and Public Communications at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Iona College and a M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
